Lowbed Trailer industry ushered in standardized development

With the vigorous development of the logistics industry, the standardized development of Lowbed Trailer, as an important tool for transporting large non-removable goods, has become the focus of the industry. Recently, the Equipment Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the Notice on the Declaration of the "Announcement" on the specification of Lowbed Trailer, aiming to standardize and implement the product management requirements of Lowbed Trailer and improve industry safety standards.

According to reports, the notice pointed out that some products have non-standard declaration problems, especially the lack of key information such as "the gooseneck part is not allowed to carry cargo, and the maximum width of the gooseneck part." The relevant vehicle production enterprises are required to complete the rectification within the specified time, otherwise they will face corresponding management treatment.

In addition, it is mentioned that six transportation industry standards such as the "Technical Specifications for Lowbed Trailer" issued by the Ministry of Transport have been officially implemented since April 1, 2020. The new standard clearly stipulates the general technical requirements, special requirements, test methods, etc. of Lowbed Trailer, and provides regulatory support for the healthy development of the industry.

The industry generally believes that the introduction of these new regulations will effectively curb the overload of low plate semi-trailers, illegal modifications and other chaos, and promote the standardization and safety of the industry.
